Default What type of speakers do i need to start a car audio system?

Im looking into getting a system out into my car.Its a 97 chevy blazer.the only factory speaker speaker that works is the driver side one.I have 1 sub that is a sony i believe.i don't know the amp wattage but its a 10 inch.i need to know what size speakers i should get and if i should get another sub.I was alson wondering if i should get a box to fit all the speakers in or get 2? 1 for the subs and the other for the smaller speakers. and is a Rockford Fosgate amp good enough for all the speakers i need

We're not really that versed in car audio around here, but I'd recommend going to crutchfield.com to see what exact speakers fit your truck. You can enter the make, model and year, and it will give you recommendations on what will fit.

I put some of Polk's db series in my 2006 Highlander Hybrid and am very happy with them, even just using the factory head unit's built in amp.

    Good luck,
