My account on Amazon wouldn't let me cancel the previous order since it was in the process of "shipping" so I tried creating a new order. This time the priice was $239! Since I couldn't cancel the previous order I sent an email to Amazon asking how to get the free movie deal. I received a reply from them this morning saying that they had canceled the 35K from last night's order and that I should reorder for the movie promotion. When I did that this morning, the price had fallen back to $226. My final price was $200.46 for the 35K and movies. If I had purchased cheaper movies (one was $21) it would have been less than $200.
Anyway, why is Amazon's price more volatile than the stock market? If I waited another day or two or three could I have got everything for $150, or maybe it would have gone up to $250?
BTW, I saw at Costco this morning that they have it for $199 after an $80 instant manufacture's rebate. Of course they are no free movies, and tax has to be added to that price.
