    Unhappy Samsung HT-C6500 + TIVO

    Setup:
    TV: Samsung LN52B750 52" LCD
    Home Theater: Samsung HT-C6500 Blu-ray
    TIVO: TiVo HD DVR

Just bought the HT-C6500 today and finished hooking everything up and i'm having a couple of problems. I can run a HDMI cable from TIVO to TV and get a picture, but I cant seem to get a picture by running a HDMI from TIVO to the C6500, I see the C6500 home sceen, but when I try and go to a different souce it doesnt hook up. My question is, can TIVO be run through this device, am I doing something wrong?

I played with the Blu-ray and C6500 just to check picture and sound quality and its awsome, I just hope I can use my new speakers with TIVO.

I last small concern, I played with the @internet feature which looks slick, but when playing my Pandora account I only hear sound from front speakers, is Pandora not 5.1?

    Thanks for any help guys!

What you're trying to do (hooking up TIVO to your HT-C6500 with an HDMI cable) should work. Assuming your HDMI cable is good, and connected properly (from output on the TiVo to input on the HT-C6500), you should just need to hit the "FUNCTION" button on your remote to select the HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 input - whichever one you are using. Make sure the remote is in "BD Receiver" mode (not "TV" mode) in order to operate the HT-C6500 inputs and not the TV inputs. You select mode just below the power button on the remote.

And yes, Pandora is a two-channel (stereo) format. You might be able to engage one of the surround modes like Dolby ProLogic II (via the DLPII button in the bottom of the remote) or select a sound field effect (SFE) is you want to get sound out of the other speakers.
