Default PC Streaming for HD-BD1250 with Windows 7

Samsung Home Theater HD-BD 1250 questions relating to the shared folders and streaming connectivity to Windows 7...

    1) does Samsung support Windows 7?
    2) do the shared folder have to be at the root of C: drive?
    3) is a non-admin username required for connectivity?
    4) is the manual connection required over auto?

    Thanks in advance

As far as what is and is not supported, you'd need to contact Samsung about that. But we have seen several users with Window 7 get this feature to work. Check this thread for details:

Thanks Chris... Samsung was fairly useless, not up to speed on Windows 7 - they refer to their manual references of XP and Vista and read from it for support.

Default PC Streaming for HD-BD1250 with Windows 7

After some playing, the PC streaming function works great with a Windows 7 op system.
Need to use the Manual Connection method... use the IP address of the PC, make sure a folder is shared.
Samsung tech support is of little help, they refer to the manual, which needs to be updated.

    Thanks again!
