Default help, samsung 3600, belkin router, no connection to netflix

after many hours, I'm about to give up. The new dvd will connect to my wireless, will connect to pandora, but not paid services (netflix or blockb). I've tried everything, including changing router channels and shutting off the router firewall. any suggestions?

I assume you've registered your player with these services? Until you do, you won't be able to connect to them.

Other than that, the only thing I would say to look at is the DNS entries in the network set-up. Could be the player is unable to get the Domain Name Server for some reason and this prevents DNS-based lookups from working properly. If you want switch to fixed IP, providing an IP address within your router's range and hard-coding your ISP's DNS values, then see if this works any differently.
