Default BD-P4600 PC Streaming, different Problem

    Hello All:

I just received this player as a gift and I am having problems connecting for PC streaming. I am able to connect and see my computer on the network, however ever time I go to enter my username and password it tells me it's incorrect. I've tried both the computer name on the network and my user name and neither have worked. I have no password so it should not be that hard. I am downloading v 2.05 of the Firmware (had v2.04) right now to see if it makes any difference. Probably not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

Have you read through the cheat sheet thread already? Or at least the first post with tips on how to get this working?

I have, yes. Unfortunately the problem I am having is with it recognizing my password or username. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem. I can find my computer on the network and everything, just signing in is the problem. Thanks.

And you have set up the file-sharing as instructed in the cheat sheet?

My suggestion would be to post your question in that specific thread as there are a few folks who monitor that thread but might not see a new question in a new thread. We no longer have a Samsung player in for review so I can't help you much there with any testing.

OK, great thanks for the info. I'm going to be trying few other things to see if I can figure out. I have followed many different incstructions in that post with no luck yet. However with 24 pages to read there is most likely some info I missed along the way.
