For those of you with a copy of Transformers on Blu-ray, I have a sanity check request. I recently set up new in-walls in my basement theater and last night I watched transformers. overall it sounded great, but I'm concerned that my center may be somehow damaged.
At the very end of the film, when a certain robot gets dropped into the ocean, there is dialogue running over that seen. Does anyone else experience any audible distortion in the center channel during that dialogue? (akin to a crackle) The dialogue involves something about the "laurentian abyss, deepest place, etc.")
I haven't heard said distortion elsewhere yet, but figured this was an easy test for anyone with the disc and a 5.1 speaker system. I'm using an onkyo receiver, it was the Dolby TrueHD track (decoded by the Onkyo) and my volume was at -12.0 (under reference/0) Panasonic BD35 player.
If you can check it out, thanks. If not, no worries.
