I had quite a different view of W. The first half dragged, as Stone tried to give us back story on GWB. About halfway through it picked up pace when the bulk of the time was spent hypothesizing about what went on behind closed doors among his advisors and himself.
Even though it picked up then, I still kept feeling like I was watching people doing impersonations of the main characters, in particular, Thandie Newton as Condoleezza Rice.
The only one who impressed me at all was Richard Dreyfuss as Dick Cheney. I bought into what he was doing.
My last complaint was that at times it seemed almost as long as Bush's two terms. There were more than a few people who dozed off at the theater I saw it in, including the fellow next to me who periodically snored loud enough to be heard by all.
Will go take a look. Maybe he will get some sympathy ....
i don't really understand the meaning
