Default So?! What about the Watchmen trailer?

Ok, first of all: at this point, almost anyone can make a decent trailer. And Zack Snyder, the man behind "300", is no exception. Let's face it: the "300" trailer was outstanding. And the movie? Well, the trailer was outstanding.

That's not to say the movie wasn't good (it wasn't). But come on, that tacked on subplot with the Queen and McNulty from "The Wire"? What was that?

Here's the concern about "Watchmen". With "300", Snyder took a 30 page graphic novel and turned it into an overblown homoerotic visual smörgåsbord. With "Watchmen", he's got dense, epic source material (which has been called "unfilmable") adapted by David Hayter ("X-Men", "X2") and Alex Tse (nothing of note).

Excuse me if I don't kiss the sky.

But it was a cool trailer. Let's just hope it's not one of those cool trailers that uses every single cool part of the film (e.g., "300").
