How can I get audio out into my home theater system if my tv doesn't have audio outputs??

Hi and welcome to the forum,
The LG 42LD520 actually has two audio outputs - a fiberoptic digital output (which is required on any TV that calls itself an "HDTV") and a headphone output. You could plug either of these into your home theater system, depending on the capabilities of your system. Fiberoptic digital is preferred as this will allow you to get Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound from shows that include it.

If you have a cable or satellite set-top box you could also plug the audio output of that directly into your home theater system (again, fiberoptic digital preferred, or HDMI if your home theater system supports HDMI inputs with audio processing).
