    Default Streaming Netflix

I'm looking at the LG 42LH50 with "Netcast" and wondered if anyone has used a wireless ethernet adapter to stream Netflix this way?
    Thanks.

    Hi, Bill,

I've streamed Netflix over WiFi before, not specifically to that TV but to other components, like LG's BD390 with built-in WiFi. It can work OK if you have a good solid WiFi connection. Netflix at its best is only 720P, stereo sound with fairly hefty compression so it isn't that much of a bandwidth hog. Even 802.11G can handle that.

Streaming VUDU however (also available on that TV) is a different story - it can be up to 4.5 MBPS with HDX content (1080p with Dolby Digital Plus 5.1). I would recommend hard-wire or at least 802.11n WiFi for that.

Here's our review of the TV:

and, of course, the requisite Amazon link:

    Amazon.com: LG 42LH50 42-Inch 1080p 120Hz Broadband LCD HDTV, Gloss Black: Electronics

    Good luck!
