Japanese director Masayuki Oshiai's remake of the Thai film of the same name is all by-the-book J-Horror, with very little to distinguish it from any other film in the genre. Thankfully, this "Westernized" version of Shutter on Blu-ray Disc has marvelous picture and audio quality to help prop it up.
