Russell Crowe stars as Captain Jack Aubrey, a commander in her majesty's navy in the eigthteenth century, on a quest to capture or destroy a dangerous French privateer vessel. He may be out-classed and out-gunned, but his resolve and instinct are strong. Will it be enough? The film is now available on Blu-ray Disc with an excellent audio and video transfer but an appalling dearth of extras.
