My question is, how do I get sound from just my tv to the receiver? I thought I needed just one HDMI cable from the receiver to tv and one from the receiver to the dvd. This must not be the case because I get no tv sound. Do I need an input from the tv to the receiver?
Hi tonman,
The first question I have for you is, what model television do you have? Also, can it pass an audio signal over HDMI and/or an optical output?
