I am a newbie andI plan to acquire a Panasonic DMP-BD-60 to hook up to the existing Panasonic SA HE100 receiver which is DTS-ES and Dolby Prologic II capable but predates HDMI inputs. Can I simply 1) run an HDMI cable to the screen from the player and 2) an optical output from the player to the DVD section on the receiver inputs? And if so with what settings on the player?

What sound if any will I get from the Screen speakers and can I assign it to a center channel?

Will the volume to the various channels adjustable with a remote on the BD-60 or should I consider another player unit?

And can I expect true1080p/24p playback with a 5:5 pulldown ratio if I use the Vizio 120 hz SV 320XVT panel? http://www.vizio.com/sv320xvt.html
