    Default Yamaha RX-V3900 switch-on-problem

Hello. I've bought a Yamaha RX-V3900 receiver in 2009 (april).Earlier I used an Onkyo THX receiver( I still have that one).
The only problem with the Yamaha is , that usually once time in a month, I can't switch it on. Neither with the remote controll, nor the" main on" switch on the gear. I have to disconnect the power AC cord, at the back , or on the wall, and after I connect this again, everything working right. Recently this problem happens often, maybe 2 or 3 times a month. I have no any other problem with this receiver, and I like it very much, but for the price of it, I do not expect any problem . Otherwise I called an electrical expert to controll the electricity in my house, and he said, there is no problem with the fuse, or with the wires, or with the current, and we checked the cables to the speakers. I do not want to take it to a Yamaha Service, although there is some month guarantee on it, but I live in Hungary, and I have bad experiences with the services...I don't want to leave it there for 2-3 months, or see it back with scratches, or worse...
Please help me with this problem.

This doesn't sound like an issue that can be fixed by the end user. Unfortunately I think you will need to send this in for service or for a replacement receiver.
